A brilliant one, too. (Whyn't I thinkuvvit?) Lots of folks have their own themed PermaThreads on here and it's a great way of letting those who are interested follow, and those who aren't ignore and bypass.

I'd wondered about the promotional element for the blog too, but don't have a problem with it. A lot of folks do that, and what harm? It's a useful way of getting news out to an audience with kindred interests, which this site is, and it only becomes Spam when repeated or prolonged. The other thing I wondered is if, in the wake of nasty comments, Emma just didn't feel like bothering with further posts. Anyway, IMO a PermaThread is clearly the way to go.
