I believe that Hawaians in PNW USA did intermarry with some of the Native Americans. Many stayed and founded towns such as Kalama and I believe Aloha Oregon. We have a Wakiki beach where I live..they did a lot of work at Hudson's Bay in Vancouver WA..Fort Vancouver, including pile driving as divers. Preferred over others for canoe skills. mg
