I was in the parking lot, outside KMart, on my way to my car, when a man asked me where I'd gotten my purse. I told him, Land's End, bought on sale, last winter. It's an undisinguished bag, hobo style, brown suede, mid sized, a few spots, and I think a cat may have upchucked on it. But he offered me $50 for it. I could see no reason not to sell my purse, so I dumped the contents into a plastic bag and took his money. I paid lesss than $50 for it. So I made money on the deal. I just wonder what the woman in his life said, when he came home with a second hand handbag that he'd paid $50 for.
