I have one of those too, D ~~ so I got Crabbe to retune my second instrument to another key. They are both Lachenals. I used to have a Crabbe one, made for me, in F/B-flat; but I got a good offer for it and sold it. I once told Peter Bellamy that I had left him my instruments in my will; his, all-too-typical, response was "Hurry up & die then! You've got a D-major concertina, haven't you?" So I let him have it on permanent loan for the nonce, as he was the professional; it was the one carried on his coffin at his funeral, after which Jennie returned it to me.
