Catherine, thanks for checking in. Sounds like we might hear from you again come July! I hope the xray is clear - those sound like serious ailments to get through - be sure you're healthy when you start these races!

I must confess here this morning that I embarrassed myself with my Internet provider (I was on hold and hung up before it got worse). I knew my bill would go up, thought by $5, they raised it by $10. I found in my notes just now, while waiting on hold and haranguing the clerk about playing fast and loose with the bill. The penalty for leaving the contract is $5 a month. I found a note to myself "Call back in Dec. 2011." Another NOTE TO SELF: "Check the notes before making the call next time." I'll just shut up now and pay the bill.

Running around, spending money today. Not my favorite thing, but it must be done. While I'm out, I'll pick up that new modem.
