And, gnudarlin'...my little darlings are very well-behaved. I have given one a light swat on the nose once or twice, but as Jack mentions, it was within seconds after he'd done something naughty. I will also grab their paw and gently squeeze if they get too free with their claws whilst "making biscuits" but that is quite different from the kind of punishment you are speaking of, from what I can tell. (No pissing here, either, just different opinion.)
