And welcome to you, mrmoe!! Glad to see you here, and I'm sorry for your mom's trouble. I lost my mother to uteran (sp?) cancer about 14 years ago. She had the same wish as your mom, to go without pain and in peace. Luckily, she was able to get hospice services at home and she got her wish.

And that's another thing we all could think about. If any of you have the time available, why don't you volunteer for a hospice program in your local area? You don't have to be a medical person, as there are lots of programs that provide support services for the clients of hospice care and their families. It's the little things that mean to the most, especially to the families with children, when a loved one is coming to the end of their good fight.
