Thank you so much for posting Jean Ritchie's classic song "Black Waters", also about the devastation caused by strip mining in the mountains of eastern Kentucky (Jean is from Perry County, KY). Jean also wrote her song in 1971. It is every bit as brilliant and important as "Paradise". Jean's music deserves a much wider audience. She is a national treasure.
