Today I did myself a favor and said no to an invite to somewhere I didn't want to go. Somewhere that we go every year but I decided that this year just didn't make sense for me but it did for my guys. So...as a result, I have the house entirely to myself which I think is a first since the arrival of Jeremiah. I did some chores and am about to settle in and finish a book I'm reading.
Next week I will have 2 days to myself (ok...maybe 7 hours or so)during which I plan to condense my office into half it's space and make the other half a play room. I'm sure I posted about this before but the baby has been sick this past week so it got put on hold. It will happen when it's supposed to (and I'm hoping that means this week!).
All the Christmas decorations are put away except for the tree which is still lighted and beautiful. I'm sure that will be going this week too but for now, it's lovely and I enjoy the atmosphere it brings to this room!
