OK, the problem is a bit more complicated than I thought.

My screen is 1440 pixels and 15 inches wide. If I set my browser window to full width, it is about 10 inches from the left margin to the "Messages" column. This is the situation I was imagining you looking at, but I was probably wrong. If I decrease my browser window to about 8 inches wide, the "Messages" column shifts to the left until it is about 5.5 inches from the left margin. If I make my browser window any narrower than that, the column doesn't shift any further, and I start losing data at the right margin instead.

Your numbers might vary depending on your screen size, resolution, font, and maybe other factors I am not aware of and wouldn't know the terminology for anyway. I am a bit out of my depth here.

Another thing you can do is scroll up or down until the line you are looking at is near the top or bottom of your window. Then it's easier to see how the columns line up.
