You won't learn much about rhythm by playing along with CDs, etc. You learn by interacting with experienced musicians. The guys on the CD can't hear you. Metronomes can't hear you either. So the best bet for a budding bodhranista (save for giving up this misguided course and learning an instrument instead) is to find a bunch of people who are unaccountably tolerant of bodhrans.
