When he and Peggy did a concert I arranged, we argued (or to the point, Peggy argued whilst he looked on) over cash versus cheque.

I can confidently state he might have not liked me. (We argued when I interviewed him for a radio show, for that matter. Grumpy old goat.)

Still worshipped him artistically though, and when you think about it, his postman etc didn't have that hero worship to worry about. So, we are no nearer to knowing if he liked anyone?
