Oh no! Like Andy, I remember Martin from my days in Southampton when I was in a group (Omen) with Martin's older brother Brian. When I first new him he wasn,t even legally old enough to go in the pub (not that that ever stopped him)so he couldn't have been that old. One hesititates to ask the cause of his demise.
Like his brother he was a fine singer with a wide repetoire, a great sense of humour and I for one am pleased to have known him.
My sympathy goes out to all his family. The world and folk music is a duller place without him.
