Saw the name Judy Henigan up there and remembered her from when she came to the UK in the 80s - very good guitar player. The late Emily Remler was a superb player in the conventional jazz world. My current favourite - Mary Halvorson, based in New York. I saw her with Anthony Braxton a few years ago in London and she impressed - her recordings since then have gone from strength to strength - covers a wide sonic palette but way past the old bebop/modern jazz stuff...
