When I was but a lad my Bro and I found a fledged Crowlet that was being stalked by a cat , while Mom and Dad Divebombed the cat to keep the youngster safe !
Where the Crowlet was was NOT a good place to get away from - A Bomb Damamged open air swimmimg pool - so we took Crowlet home (NOT Too far from the park where Home Nest was) and deposited same in what HAD been a Rabbit Run , Fenced but open to the sky .
It wasnt long til Mom and Dad Crow turned up , but it was three days before they could get Crowlet far enough up the trees at the end of our garden to make it back to the park , so I DO know how well Parent Birds can find stray offspring !
