You heard a different speech from me. Every specific thing I heard him suggest came with a specific way to pay. "take the money we save not fighting in Iraq, use half for education. Use the rest to pay down the debt." that sort of thing. Surtax on the rich. End the Bush tax cuts on the wealthy. make all wealthy pay 30% tax. Tax corporations that export jobs to subsidize those who create jobs, etc. etc.

There was plenty of new money. If he and the Dems in Senate and House win in a landslide.
