$1,259 (or less, if you bargain) buys you a Cort CJ10X-12. 6 years ago they were being rebadged as Gibsons at twice the price, at least. A BIG-voiced beast, yet sensitive to the tinest stroke. Good electronics (Fishman Premium with Matrix pickup). I swear by mine and wouldn't change it for the world.
