I am definitely getting the impression here that 12-strings are much more fragile than 6-strings?In the sixties, I was always told that the vintage guitars had much better sound than new guitars. So I was just thinking a vintage is what you would all like. What acoustic would come closest to a Martin in tone?Just to save money...as this is for my own enjoyment. Do you like the older Guilds and how fragile are they?I am very,very careful with a guitar.
