Both films are silly but 5th is just lots better storytelling.
It kicks ass and takes names by comparison.
I consider 5th Element to be the Anti-Armageddon.
If they had made a stack of the dumb technical errors in Armageddon, the paper would have easily cushioned the impact of that big rock.
And speaking of rocks, that's what Mila Jovavich does.
