If US no longer has French Fries, it would be speaking "Freedom" surely!
Given the French connections in Canada & round the Mississippi Delta, why not French? Spanish. Certainly! I assumed most Americans are as bad as Brits at learning foreign languages (as opposed to the language of the country their grandparents came from). If only they learned to speak English...*BG*
Sad when any show of education or intelligence in a politician (even a Republican)is seen as a bad thing!
