well, when I was about 11-12, I went fishing in the city lake in Emporia, Kansas. Caught a small fish on a cane pole...maybe 6" long. My grandmother cleaned & fried it for me. I haven't been fishing since. ALL my 4 uncles were avid fishermen...my father just never took to it.
