Janie, you're lucky to have talented and generous neighbors! I'm glad the break isn't so bad, and you'll have to pace yourself so you don't blow out that other knee. Taking care of yourself is your part of this recovery period in your community of friends and neighbors, now that the house has gone through some of its restoration. Maybe it's time for a call to a local physiotherapist who can offer some exercises to keep your healthy knee happy - this must be a common situation for people with this kind of injury.
