Subject: 5 Favourite Albums Yet to be Recorded
I'm sort of being serious here; call it Fantasy Folk if you like, where you can see the potential of something (something potentially great) but you consign yourself to living in hope...

My first would be a solo album by Dave Cousins consisting entirely of Traditional material, self accompanied on banjo, dulcimer and only occasional guitar. He's touched upon this briefly early on his career (somewhere I have a near perfect Banks of the Nile) before the hit & miss Strawbs business got in the way. In a similar vein, an dark bleak album of the most intense and distubing Child Ballads from Scott Walker with full orchestral backing would be a thing of beauty and a joy forever. On a lighter note, I'd love to see Jim Eldon do an album of Michael Hurley Covers. But how much better it would be if they did it as a fiddlin' duo. They could called it Jim 'n' Snock Across the Pond.

In other areas I might dream of Daevid Allen and Robert Wyatt getting together for an album of retrospective gliss and crooning, and it would be lovely if the surviving members of the Third Ear Band could do an ensemble tribute to Glen Sweeney, Hell, I'd be happy with a record of improvised droning duets by Richard Coff and Ursula Pank (nee Smith).

So there's five; no doubt the more Folk Aware might provide others, or not, assuming whether or not you think such dreams are in anyway constructive...
