Actually, the spare wasn't untouched. It probably doesn't show in the picture, but the rim edge of the spare was folded right back. The tire MAY be okay, if someone pries enough mess away to get it out. And the scare part was just the split second when the world exploded. Well, maybe a few moments of a confused feeling of am I/is she/ okay, or not, til our heads cleared from the jolt.
