'"I will miss this job, but one of the advantages of not running for office is I don't even have to pretend to be nice to people I don't like," said Frank during a press conference in Newton.'

Frank was and is frank ['It is, of course, further indication that a fundamentalist right has really taken over much of the Republican Party, People might cite George Bush as proof that you can be totally impervious to the effects of Harvard and Yale education."]. He in many ways reminds me of WC Fields, a character whom I have always felt a kinship.

That's the kind of people countries need in governance roles. Frank said he would retire and concentrate on writing, and that he had NO intention of becoming a lobbyist. (I expect that would have been punctuated by a pttui into a spittoon in bygone days.)
