You could mix the batter at home and bring it to the church hall with a skillet and a hot plate or Coleman stove. Somebody else could bring the syrup and butter. Just don't invite the fire marshal.

But I believe that gnu has the answer: the pastor should acknowledge that staging a pancake supper without using the kitchen is a lot to ask of parishioners who aren't Army cooks.
