Got to thinking about the "good old days" tonight and started googling some folks I lost track of a few decades ago and was deeply saddened to read of Monte's passing. I recall with great fondness the crew who hung out and jammed in Sharon CT back in the day. Monte and Karen were always at the center...the ones the rest of us gravitated to. I lost touch with them many years ago but their album still sits here on the record rack and they have been often in my thoughts. RIP Monte. You were all hell of a guy and left the world in better shape for your presence.
