Strettle may have thought he felt the ball touching the ground, but there was obviously at least one arm underneath it, so the first time it touched the ground was after it had been returned to the field of play. I thought Scotland's defence played magnificently for most of the game, and the rookies added a spark to their play. Again it was errors in finishing that let us down.
