As you may have read, Obama is quite in favor of changing the rules about how money for re-election is raised.... but the Republicans still hold to their belief that 'over the long haul', $$$$ will be the deciding factor.

A couple of Republicans spend hundreds of millions in LOSING campaigns in 2010..(Meg Whitfield? and one other) but Romney didn't get the message. And you 'may' have read that ¼ of all funds donated to Republican SuperPacs are by **5** billionaire donors. One says he 'might' give up to 100 million the get Gingrich the nomination.

if I were Obama, I too would combat this idiocy by playing (legally) by THEIR rules until it is changed.
