Lots of useful info - thanks all. We know Whitby from way back when my good lady wife was booked, I spent week with new born!! I should have mentioned my thoughts were for a southern, weekend fest. I have located well placed B&B in Ramsgate but am reconsidering after this feedback, might try Warwick or Furnace, but I'm tempted by Wadebridge pasties and cycle rides along the Camel.
