No gnu....This thing can be lost. As James Carville said the other night, the candidates may be bad, and they are, but the real problem is we need better voters. That came from a story about Lester Maddox who once said the problem with Georgia prisons was that they needed better prisoners. The Repubs need better voters. The party has gone so far to the fundamentalist super right that they'd reject any real conservative like Barry Goldwater in favor of a nutjob like Santorum or Romney.

BTW, George Romney has probably already turned over is his grave...............
