I am surprised that nobody mentioned Cas Wallin's version, which has an additional final verse, about a catholic priest, which Cas told me had been composed by himself, and which referred to a local priest in Sodom Laurel. It's on "Far in the Mountains" Volumes 3 & 4 (Musical Traditions MTCD503-4.
