I was able to Skype with ALL the Califournians last night-- so cool to see mom, and to see them all reacting to "OMG the technology" and "OMG she isn't who we thought she was all these years." Nice also to get their congrats for my PT grad, by visual. I will next Skype with them from the new exercise room as soon as it's set up-- #1 son left them now Skype-able. Great that sis will be able now to Skype with hometown peeps she so recently left.

As I take the week off from the Hurt Locker, I find a lot of PT insights bubbling up. This AM's cold hard light makes it clear that I dare not stop the progress, tho slowing it don to less-pain-than-PT is def. necessary because I have stuff to DO. But another way of looking at "what was achieved" is to acknowledge that now-- I am only as weak as most women on the day they make their New Year's resolution. How far do I WANT to go? I WANT to be able to toss Clydesdales and to hang from monkey bars-- I want to be able to support my own weight, and I am not there quite yet. :~) I'm just strong enough now to START that little journey.

To explore with doctor (the 21st) is bloodwork and echocardiogram sched for Monday, and the physiology of arthritis. Not how to protect and live with it muscularly-- I know quite a bit about that-- but the PT said something I did not understand, and thus the DO can eddicate me.
