I'm having a similar experience here on my machine at home (Win XP, IE8)- no problem with other websites, but Mudcat threads often lock up the browser when loading, and it is very difficult to close IE.

I don't have any problem if I view Mudcat through a remote desktop connection onto my machine at work (Vista, IE8). Weird.
