It's well know the pain is not particularly nice when you have stones and passing them is a bastard.. (an understatement.) Pethidine seems to be the only pain relief that seems to work with these little buggers.. I would whole hartedly agree with earlier comments... go for the lithotripsy.. That's me, 25 years in the gas passing biz!!
