It is no surprise to me that the Providence (RI) Journal, or ProJo, has not been carrying the Doonesbury strips. I've followed them online at GoComics.com. But today, Thursday, someone "made a mistake" and today's strip was in its regular spot on the comic page! Also there was a mention of the "mistake" in the Corrections column in another section. My friends and I are speculating that it was done deliberately by someone, but if so I hope the powers at ProJo never find out who did it. Also, we think many readers were unaware that the strip had been replaced.
