Tom, old buddy, why the hell can't this sort of thing happen when we are young and flexible? All I did today was pound the hell out of a shaft with a 4 pound hammer to free it from a snow blower part, and I wrecked my wrist.

It does happen when we're young and flexible. We just never notice it. I think about the falls I took in high school and college, learning to ski...the same exact sort of fall, now, would put me in the hospital for weeks and in several casts for months, IF I was lucky.
