Picked up my Lakewood yesterday to find a crack in the side of it caused by a guitar stand falling? over against it. Makes me feel sick as this is probably one of the first that lakewood made. It has not affected the sound or the structural integrity but its sickening to see such a fine instrument damaged. Question is - do I get it repaired or try and effect a repair myself, and of course how much will it cost.
The only saving grace is that it wasn't the new Taylor which was parked next to it. All my guitars and banjos will be kept in their cases from now on
