Similar thing happened to my Lowden soon after buying it. It was sitting in its hard case next to me when this loudmouth person in the session decided to throw a biro pen across the room and it bounced of the main body !My heart sank and I didn't even get an apology. It has since acquired a multitude of dents and scratches and has never sounded soooo good!
I feel your pain though.
