And I just talked to him -- he had a great afternoon using the walker to get to the chair, etc. Baby steps, but he's getting somewhere. He sounded great...better than any time since Wednesday night. And there's a rumor of a bed outside of the ICU.

So...we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Had planned to transcribe today's notes on "The Charles Street Chronicles", gather up the bills that need to be paid, and find the tax stuff in the piles on the side of the table, but, quite honestly, I think I'm too tired. Mañana.

I'll retire to my bedchamber and make phone calls.
