I think that Maher was correct in stating that fascist loons are trying to assert a false equivalency.

Is there any news how Sandra Fluke's libel claim is coming along? I know there are fules claiming that US libel law disentitles her to protection but I don't believe them, and the benchmarks they try to set for factual assertion and allegations of unchastity are not in the least persuasive.

Perhaps I should look up whether Fluke has a claim in the UK since Limbaugh's statements about her were clearly republished (and likely to be republished) here. We have clamped down a bit in recent years on forum-shopping but I wonder if we have closed the door on such a claim as this would be.
