Earlier in this thread I stated that the "c" remark was as offensive to ALL women as L's "slut, etc. The difference to me is that Fluke is a private person appearing before Congress. The Palins are public figures who have appeared on TV shows, magazine covers, etc and made their personal lives public fodder for comedians, gossip columns and talk show hosts. Bristol Palin's on again off again engagement and public airing of her personal problems left her wide open to jokes. No presidential apology is necessary.
