18 months ago to the hour I told Karen "I need to get to the hospital RIGHT NOW!" I was having a heart attack. Fortunately the door of the hospital is 1 mile away, with only one traffic light.

Today, in preparation for Philadelphia's American Lung Association "Fight For Air Climb" benefit on Saturday, I was able to climb 54 floors on a stair-mill in 00:08:20. Then did 20 minutes on an elliptical trainer and followed that up with another relaxed 56 floors on the stair mill in 12 minutes. (Only did 108 yesterday!)

It's been a lot of work, I've had a lot of help from some great rehab specialists, a lot of support from friends and family, but it's damn well been worth it!
