If you like paper, I'm convinced that you need a monochrome Kindle AND something else. Ditto for battery life. The "electronic ink" sips power and really has to be seen to be believed. Nearly everything you hate about reading online is fixed by the Kindle. The more expensive Kindle Fire, while it offers color, is not as easy on the eyes nor does it offer the very long battery life of its little brother. The ones with ads, for around $79 are a great value, as the ads are unobtrusive.
