I'm reading but not posting because I haven't done a darn thing. My cold has decided to make a second round. I have been sleeping in my chair and in bed for the last 2 days. I'm a beautiful sight...hair all wild and curly, jammies, socks, cotton in both ears. Lovely. My incredible husband has been taking great care of the baby, doing dishes, sweeping, cooking and laundry. He just looks at me and says with worry in his voice...Chickster...are you ok? I am not but I will be. :)

Another of my teal sisters has received her wings. She was in the hospital last week for what she thought was a cold. A spinal tap revealed she had cancer in her spinal fluid. Six days later, she is gone.

She was my bestest smart ass teal sister. She had a wicked sense of humor and had a way of making jokes about cancer that you wouldn't get unless you have been down that path. I will miss her dearly.

RIP Nancy.
