While I did not (could not in this country) see this particular show, I am familiar with John Stuart's satire. I can guess what he was getting at from the comments here.

I am just having my own little satirical rant for the benefit mostly of those inhumans who would agree with a Swiftian "Modest Proposal" as a real solution to a problem.
