Okay, I'd let Dr. Z's office know where rehab is, per Dr. Z's request (so he could have someone local check out something in Tom's throat that Dr. Z REALLY had wanted to put Tom under for to check out more closely), but Justin says Dr. Z says that can wait until he's home from rehab. That REALLY shows that Dr. Z is concerned, but not a LOT concerned, about what he couldn't see when he scoped Tom in January.

Tom has a follow-up with Dr. Blitzer, his surgeon, on Friday -- and I can meet him at the office (rehab will get him there), which is very close to home. Maybe then I can get a copy of a printout of an x-ray showing his ankle tackle to look at more closely. (Dr. Blitzer showed me a small paper printout right after the surgery, but I spaced asking him for a copy at that time, and I really didn't look at it that closely; I'm just curious.)

Tom's really in great spirits, especially now that he can have good coffee whenever he wants it. He had a good physical therapy session earlier today. I think as far as strength goes, he'll be in better shape when he gets home than he's been in quite awhile.

On my way out, I stuck a couple chairs at the head of the driveway with a "FREE" sign on them. Also pulled some more stuff from the cellar to go to Goodwill. Got some antique-ish stuff that I'll throw in the car one of these days and see if I can sell them up the road in "Antique Alley" -- and probably put some ephemera on eBay.

Today was an accomplished day.
