Bert ~~ One could equally respond to your last point that one either believes in equity in extradition treaties or one doesn't. The point at issue is that the present treaty is not equitable. For some reason it was so ill-considered and ill-drafted, in such haste as purely in original intent a counter-terrorism measure, that you can extradite one our citizens in cases where we could not extradite one of yours for a comparable breach of our laws. Both the instant case and that of Mr Tappin are gross and glaring examples of this.
