The commercial music industry creates a type of singer that is deified for his/her
drug abuse, when it is actually caused by the specious demands of that business.
Ugly merchants want to maximize their profits at the expense of talent by whipping
their artists into performances that they might well have moderated by less going on the road and pushing so hard to sell their recordings.

It speaks to the corporatizing of America and it's emphasis on profit over people.

The solution is to ignore the values of the commercial music industry which is why
