Bobert, I can't really find adequate words to express my admiration for your restrained approach to this traumatic event.
I think you came out of it smelling of roses, and the one person I feel came worst out of it was the lovely P Vine. The poor lady was torn every which way, by a situation which I wouldn'd wish on my worst enemy.
Give her my love, and please, take her out for a treat, a meal or a trip somewhere she loves.
